DELTA COUNTY CREDIT UNION'S 2007 BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Scott Fritz, President
Escanaba native Scott Fritz is serving his second term on the Board and was elected as President in 2007. He is the owner of Classic Auto Collision, which he opened in 1982. He recently opened a second location in Marquette. He has also established two sister-companies to his main business-Advanced Tech Service Center and Bay de Noc Towing. “I feel the Board is always an important part of the credit union, being able to incorporate various personalities, ideas and expertise to oversee that operations are run as smoothly and fairly as possible. I feel the experience from my many years of operation my own business contribute in a beneficial manner and I’m honored to volunteer my time on the Board with DCCU.” Scott resides in the Soo Hill area with his wife Mary and their three daughters.
Dave Perrault, Vice President
Dave has served on our Board since 2006. He currently owns Perrault’s Market in the Danforth area and also does business and information systems consulting. “I am serving as a volunteer on the board because I hope my business experience will allow me to make a positive contribution to the credit union.” Dave is a member of St. Anthony’s Church. He also volunteers his time at Holy Name School. Dave and his wife Jennifer reside in Escanaba with their two children.
Jon Liss, Treasurer
Jon has served on DCCU’s board since 2002. He is the owner of Northern Machine and Repair. He lives in Escanaba with his wife, Amy, and their two children. In his spare time, Jon likes to spend time with his family at their cottage.
Joe Bushey, Secretary
Joe has been a volunteer on our Board of Directors for over 20 years. He has held every office on the Board at least once. Joe retired a few years ago, but can still be found every day at Bushey Meats, a business he established over 50 years ago. In years past, he has been a member of the Exchange Club, Wells Lions Club, and St. Anthony’s Church. “I enjoy serving on the board because it keeps me informed and active in the operations of the credit union. Joe and his wife, Joyce, live in Escanaba.
Tom Carviou
Tom has been a volunteer member on the Board since 2001. He spent 16 years with the Delta County Building and Zoning Administration and has been a member of the Elks Club for 25 years. He and his wife Nancy are the parents of two children and enjoy spending time with their grandchildren.
Art Messier
Art has been a volunteer at DCCU for over 25 years. He was the owner of Ernie’s Party Store for 17 years and currently resides in Escanaba with his wife, MaryLou. “I feel great when we can offer new services to our members such as being the first Credit Union in the UP to offer share drafts and the VISA card.”
Joanne Stefl
Joanne is our newest addtion to the Board of Directors. She has been a member of the credit union for over 25 years. She currently works part time for Real Estate by George, but considers herself semi-retired, having owned and operated Delta Swiss Farm with her husband for many years. She is very active in our community and is a long time member of St. Anne's Church. "I believe in the credit union philosophy. Being on the board is a great way to serve others in the community." Joanne resides in Escanaba with her husband Lowell and enjoys golfing, gardening and spending time with her grandchildren.
