Escanaba native Scott Fritz has served on the Board since 2004 and was elected as President in 2007. He is the owner of Classic Auto Collision, which he opened in 1982. He has also established two sister-companies to his main business-Advanced Tech Service Center and Bay de Noc Towing. “I feel the Board is always an important part of the credit union, being able to incorporate various personalities, ideas and expertise to oversee that operations are run as smoothly and fairly as possible. I feel the experience from my many years of operating my own business contribute in a beneficial manner and I’m honored to volunteer my time on the Board with DCCU.” Scott resides in the Soo Hill area with his wife Mary and their three daughters.

jennyJenny Heller, Secretary

Jenny was born and raised in Escanaba and resides here with her son Brett and pup Darius. She has been employed at EMP for over 23 years. She serves as the Lodge Secretary for Escanaba Elks, Vice President of the Delta Area Transit Authority Board, a former Jaycee President, Delta Force Graduate, member of the Escanaba Fan Club and is often volunteering in our community. Jenny is attending Bay de Noc Community College to finish her Business degree. If the Detroit Tigers or Green Bay Packers are playing you can bet Jenny is watching.


jody-office-smJody Jaeger, Vice President

Jody has served on the DCCU Board of Directors since 2012 and has been a member for over 17 years.  She is currently employed by Michigan Education Association.  She is also very active in the community having served on numerous boards, committees and service clubs .  She currently serves as Vice President of Youth Assistance Program and is a member of  GFWC – Woman’s Club, and Delta County Ambassadors.  Jody has two grown children and three granddaughters.  She resides in Rapid River with her husband, Thomas.


Keith Lynch, Treasurer

Keith Lynch has been a Delta County Credit Union member for over 22 years.  Keith and his wife Susie are the owners of two UPS Stores and U.P. Fitness. They have two sons; Chris, who is in the Marines and Jack, who is in high school and plays football and basketball. Keith has been very active in our community, serving on numerous Boards. He has coached U.P. Youth Football and is a member of the U.P. Whitetails and Great Lakes Sports and Rec Club. In Keith’s free time he enjoys camping, 4 wheeling, snowmobiling, hunting and traveling the Upper Peninsula.


davisJeremy Davis

Jeremy is employed as a Funeral Director at Skradski Family Funeral Homes. He lives in Escanaba with his wife, Amy and their 3 children, Aalysiah, Grayson, and Isiah. Jeremy is an active member in the community having served as Treasurer of Cub Scout Pack #414, coaching for the Escanaba Little League, and being a member of the Elk’s Lodge #354. In his spare time, he enjoys watching and playing sports, camping, fishing, and spending time with his family.


Jennifer LaChance

Jennifer has served on the DCCU Board of Directors since 2016 and has been a member since 2001.  Jennifer is employed at Bink’s Wines and Beverages as the Sales Manager. She lives in Escanaba with her husband, Paul and sons Hunter and Bon. Jennifer has served as a Board Member on the Delta County Chamber of Commerce since 2010. In her spare time, she enjoys photography, watching baseball, crafting and building things, and wine tasting.

Randy VanPortfliet

Randy has been a U.P. resident since 1994, after moving from his hometown of Grand Rapids. He is a Licensed Professional Engineer. Randy received his Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Michigan State University, then continued on to earn his Master’s degree in Public Administration from Grand Valley State University. Randy is retired from the Michigan Department of Transportation where he was the Superior Region Engineer and Bureau Director of Field Services. Randy is happily married to his wife Julie of 21 years. Together they have two daughters, Jordyn and Kayla. They both attend MSU.
